- Bread — to buy4 slices
- Ham — to buy2 slices
- Cheese — to buy80 g
- Butter — to buy20 g
Preparation
Butter the bread slices on one side.
Top two slices with ham and grated cheese, season lightly with pepper, then close with the remaining slices (buttered side out).
Heat a pan over medium heat (or the oven to 200 °C/400 °F) and brown for 5 to 8 minutes per side, until the bread is golden and the cheese is fully melted inside.
Serve right away, piping hot.
