- Carrot — to buy1
- Tomato paste — to buy3 tbsp
- Cream — to buy100 ml
- Neutral oil — to buy2 tbsp

- Pepper — to buy1/2 tsp
Preparation
Cook the rice for 10 minutes in salted boiling water (it should stay firm, it will finish cooking inside the cabbage rolls), drain and let cool.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil, dip the whole cabbage in for 2-3 minutes to soften the leaves, then carefully peel them off one by one: pliable leaves are essential to roll them without tearing.
Mix the cooled rice, ground beef, one finely chopped onion, salt and pepper for the filling.
Place a spoonful of filling on each cabbage leaf, fold in the sides and roll tightly into a small parcel.
Cook the second onion and grated carrot in the oil for 5 minutes, add the tomato paste and a little water to make a sauce.
Arrange the stuffed cabbage rolls tightly in a pot, pour the tomato sauce over and add water halfway up.
Cover and simmer over low heat for 45 minutes, until the cabbage is tender.
Serve with a spoonful of sour cream on each portion.
