- Flour — to buy500 g
- Baker's yeast — to buy7 g
- Sugar — to buy40 g
- Salt — to buy1 tsp
- Milk — to buy200 ml warm
- Butter — to buy60 g melted
- Ham — to buy200 g sliced
- Olives — to buy20
- Raisins — to buy50 g
Preparation
Mix the flour, baker's yeast, sugar and salt, then work in the warm milk and melted butter.
Knead for 10 minutes until you get a soft, elastic dough, cover and let rise for 1 hour 30 minutes at room temperature, until doubled in size.
Roll the dough into a large rectangle on a floured work surface.
Spread the ham slices over the whole surface, scatter with olives and raisins.
Roll the dough tightly into a log, starting from the longer side, and place it seam-side down on a baking sheet.
Let rise for another 30 minutes, brush with melted butter and bake for 35-40 minutes at 190°C (375°F) until the loaf is golden.
