- Wheat noodles — to buy300g
- Chicken — to buy2 filets
- Carrot — to buy1
- Mushroom — to buy150 g
- Soy sauce — to buy3 tbsp
- Sesame oil — to buy1 tbsp
- Sesame seeds — to buy1 tsp
Preparation
Cook the wheat noodles (ideally fresh or frozen udon) according to the package instructions, drain them and set aside with a drizzle of oil to keep them from sticking.
Cut the chicken into even strips and brown it for 4-5 minutes in a very hot wok with a little oil, flipping halfway through. Set it aside.
In the same still-hot wok, stir-fry the julienned carrot and sliced mushroom for 2-3 minutes, until tender but still a little crisp.
Return the chicken and noodles to the wok, add the soy sauce and sesame oil.
Toss vigorously for 2 minutes over high heat, lifting the noodles with tongs to coat every strand without breaking them.
Serve immediately, sprinkled with sesame seeds.
